Jay Euphoria is a California based artist, working from his studio space in Los Angeles, California. The focal point of his artistry is strongly based around the concept of deconstruction and reconstruction. Using crystals and minerals in their most natural state, as a medium; to essentially redefine their beauty and portray them in alternate, organic-like forms on stretched canvas. He began to develop his artistry in 2020, when he started to focus on the properties of crystals and what that might look like physically, and visually. From 2021, he started to test different formulas, combinations of products, and materials to invoke transformation and re-introduce what "mixed media" could be. By 2022, Jay exhibited in the San Diego Contemporary Art Show, was featured in Art Talk Magazine Issue 27/pg.14, and awarded "Most Unique Design" in the boynes Artist award. Since then he has created numerous art pieces and looks forward to what 2026 has to bring. With every piece he creates, the main goal is to embody the unique, unadulterated beauty of crystals to provide an experience of beauty, distinctiveness and sense of euphoria to it's viewer.

I love my work because it's so experimental and requires a lot of attention to detail. Each body of work requires a very hands-on approach that is not always predictable. From scaling formations to cutting crystals down to size, I love the multi-step process. Even down to using leftover crystal shards from the cutting process, and cultivating that to a refined glitter powder. Throughout the years, i've perfected my crystal formulas and techniques to continuously evolve my craft.

Every piece I've created is unique and one of a kind in my artistry. My crystals are sourced from around the world, different in properties and energy they hold. I love the beauty of working with raw materials, highlighting their properties by displaying them in suggestive movement through art!
