The Artist
Jay Euphoria is a talented California-based artist, creating his unique crystal artworks from his studio in Los Angeles. His artistry revolves around the innovative concept of deconstruction and reconstruction. By using crystals and minerals in their most natural state as a medium, he redefines their beauty and presents them in organic-like forms on stretched canvas. Jay began to develop his mixed media artistry in 2020, focusing on the physical and visual properties of crystals. From 2021 onward, he experimented with various formulas, product combinations, and materials to invoke transformation and redefine what 'mixed media' can be. By 2022, Jay showcased his work at the San Diego Contemporary Art Show, received a feature in Art Talk Magazine Issue 27/pg.14, and was honored with the 'Most Unique Design' award at the Boynes Artist award. Since then, he has created numerous art pieces and eagerly anticipates what 2026 will bring. With each creation, his primary goal is to embody the unique, unadulterated beauty of crystals, providing viewers with an experience of beauty, distinctiveness, and a sense of euphoria.
Behind The Scenes
I love my work as a mixed media artistry practitioner because it's so experimental and requires a lot of attention to detail. Each body of work, especially my unique crystal artworks, demands a very hands-on approach that is not always predictable. From scaling formations to cutting crystals down to size, I enjoy the multi-step process. Even using leftover crystal shards from the cutting process, I cultivate that into a refined glitter powder. Throughout the years, I've perfected my crystal formulas and techniques to continuously evolve my craft.

Every piece I've created in my mixed media artistry is unique and one of a kind, showcasing my passion for unique crystal artworks. My crystals, sourced from around the world, vary in properties and the energy they hold. I love the beauty of working with raw materials, highlighting their characteristics by displaying them in suggestive movement through my art, embodying the essence of Jay Euphoria.
