JAY EUPHORIA
Jay Euphoria is a mixed media artist from California, working out of his art studio in Los Angeles. Always imaginative from a young age, Jay approached everything with optimism and determination with whatever he created. In early years, he attended and graduated Art Instructions Schools which gave him the tools to hone & perfect his traditional art skills. In 2020, his art career began to take hold. Along with conventional supplies, he aims to bring a unique approach from the use of crystals & minerals in their most natural form. His artistry revolves around the concept of deconstruction and reconstruction, with that he essentially aims to re-define the beauty of raw materials to portray them in abstract, alternate and organic new formations.
What inspires you to create the work that you do?
One of my biggest inspirations comes from wanting to contribute to mixed media work in the world, to help change a way we experience art and hopefully inspire others to create. I love utilizing all mediums because I believe it adds a sense of uniqueness and distinction. Crystals have been known to house unique properties, hold energies and potentially influence the owner from the qualities they possess. This has always fascinated me since I was younger so when I began experimenting with ideas, materials, and formulas in 2020 to formulate what I now call; crystal artistry.
How did you start making art?
I have always had an innate ability to draw well and a drive to create, as a kid I started getting into art with graphite and color pencils. In 2007, I attended Art Instructions Schools for 2 1/2 years. In pursuing my education in art, I really dove deep into the fundamentals and obtained a stronger foundation to create from. I graduated in 2010, began producing art, participated in opportunities around my hometown, and periodically showcased in shows throughout the next several years. In 2016 I took a sabbatical until 2019. In 2020, my "9 to 5" work life was put on hold and my partner encouraged me to start pursuing art again with the new found time and resources I had available, so I did.
After being out of touch with the arts, I took that summer of 2020 to research and find what types of pieces artist we're making, narrowed down what I wasn't seeing and aligned that with I found interesting to make this artistry my own. From there, I started small experiments with products and materials to find the newfound style I create today.

At Euphoria Gallery, our mission is to promote and showcase crystal artistry from a mixed media perspective. Our mantra with every project we touch is to "Embody the unique, unadulterated beauty of crystals in their most natural state through art to showcase an eclectic experience of euphoria to it's audience ."
Our History
Founded in 2020, Euphoria Gallery was created as a hub to showcase a range of crystal artistry established by Jay Euphoria. His entrepreneurship began February 1st, 2020 by obtaining state licensing, building his art studio and began taking commissions via Instagram. Through social media, he grew his audience with an average of 20-22 commissions annually. In 2021, his piece "Bluemuda Trianlge" was picked up for publishing in Artist Talk Magazine, featured in issue 27; page 14-15.
Following the publication, Euphoria Gallery was accepted to showcase at the San Diego Contemporary Art show in 2022, joined a physical gallery in Los Angeles, California called The Art Lounge Collective until 2023 and continued to accept commissions and opportunities throughout the years via Instagram or through his website.
