"The Eternal Collection" weaves crystals, light, and natural elements into a meditation on connection. At its base, finely ground Gibeon meteorite(stardust), discovered in what is now Namibia from 1838, links the piece to cosmic origins. Rising from this, a crystal trunk and tree bark made up of quartz, selenite, and apophyllite grows into branches complimented by reindeer moss. Each color represents an element, accompanied by their corresponding crystal; green for Earth(Malachite), Blue for water(Sodalite), Yellow for air (Topaz & Citrine), Red for fire (Fire Opal) and deeper purples(Amethyst) for soul. Embedded LED lights in the moss gently shift the mood, reminding us that nothing in life is truly static. The cosmic landscape behind painted in oil and resin with selenite glitter powder, sparkles like dust from the stars. This combination of works become a statement about unity, showing that every living thing, despite its differences, shares common threads. It’s an invitation to to see ourselves as part of something larger, woven into nature, energy, and the universe itself. In essence, Eternal suggests that our individual stories are strands in a single shared tapestry.

By using crystals and minerals in their most natural state as a medium, he redefines their beauty and presents them in organic-like forms on stretched canvas. Jay began to develop his mixed media artistry in 2020, focusing on the physical and visual properties of crystals. He created his brand Euphoria Gallery to showcase the vast possibilities that crystals and artistry processes, and not just limited to traditional canvas artwork. With each creation, his primary goal is to embody the unique, unadulterated beauty of crystals, providing viewers with an experience of beauty, distinctiveness, and a sense of euphoria.
I love my work as a mixed media artistry practitioner because it's so experimental and requires a lot of attention to detail. Each body of work, especially my unique crystal artworks, demands a very hands-on approach that is not always predictable. From scaling formations to cutting crystals down to size, I enjoy the multi-step process. Even using leftover crystal shards from the cutting process, I cultivate that into a refined glitter powder. Throughout the years, I've perfected my crystal formulas and techniques to continuously evolve my craft.
